Robert Harold Yates

Robert Harold Yates was born November 15th, 1934, in Louisville Kentucky. He retired as a Chief Master Sergeant in the Air Force.
He served for 22 years and was active in the Korean and Vietnam wars. He passed away October 6th, 2024, in his home in Fallon Nevada. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, stepfather, and brother. He loved to be outdoors, old collectible cars, and had a passion for animals and gardening.
Survived by, wife Dorma, and three daughters Donna Monroe, Brenda Carmichael and Trina Martinez. Stepsons, Jeff and Mark Higginbotham, brother Chester Yates, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial Service and reception to follow are scheduled for 4:30pm, Sunday October 20, 2024, at The Gardens Funeral Home, 2949 Austin Hwy, Fallon.
Burial with Military Honors are scheduled for 11:00am, Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at Northern NV Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 14 Veterans Way, Fernley.
