Luella Joanne Arnold
December 30, 1937 - August 15, 2024
Luella Joanne Arnold, born December 30, 1937,
to Roy and Wanda Eaton (Swink), passed away
peacefully in her sleep on August 15, 2024.
Luella is survived by her siblings
Charles (Marian) Eaton, Jerry (Nancy) Eaton,
and Kathy Eaton, as well as her stepdaughters
Vickie (Rick) Hajek, Linda (Lynn) Arnold, and Lesta
(Roger) Keller. She also leaves behind many cherished
nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces.
Throughout her life, Luella lived with boundless generosity
and a spirit of adventure. Her stories from near and far
touched the lives of many. An avid reader, Luella found
joy in collecting agates along the Oregon coast and
hiking the trails around Carson City. Her quick wit and
honesty will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be
made to your local animal shelter in Luella’s honor.
A celebration of life will be held in Carson City
