Kevin Clifford/Nevada Appeal Mel Tinker and Louise Hunt, of Carson City, show the fossilized horse teeth they found while walking near the Carson River early January. The molars are thought to be about 25,000 years old. Below is a closeup of one of the teeth, an upper-left molar.
