In accordance with the TSA, face masks will no longer be required for employees and customers at RNO. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has advised us they will no longer be enforcing the directive that requires masking in the airport. We know that travelers and employees might have mixed feelings to this change in enforcement and we ask everyone to be kind about the choice to wear a mask or not while traveling. Please check with your airline when it comes to their mask requirements while flying.
Effective Monday, February 28, 2022, masks will no longer be required on Carson City School District buses or vans. This follows changes in the CDC guidance last week.
All 17 Nevada counties are listed as having high risk of transmission.
Eureka and Storey counties along with White Pine are not required to mandate masks.
Nevada is scaling back indoor masking requirements in two more counties.
Nevada health officials say individuals in all 17 of the state’s counties are still required to wear face coverings.
Convention organizers can choose between requiring masks or ensuring all attendees be vaccinated.
The Gaming Control Board has filed a new complaint against a Carson City bar, The Timbers, charging violation of the mandatory mask and social distancing requirements.
Students are not required to wear facemasks inside any Carson City School District building.
Schools will begin the year with a face mask mandate for all students, staff and visitors regardless of vaccination status.
Coronavirus numbers continued to climb in Nevada on Wednesday to their highest level since February.
