Police in Las Vegas say both drivers were injured and both were cited following the two-vehicle crash.
Michele Fiore's campaign aide, Rory McShane, said in an email that Fiore suffered a broken orbital bone and head trauma in the Monday crash.
Republican Michelle Fiore announced her plans to run at a news conference in Las Vegas.
