Riggins announces run for Churchill County Commission

A member currently serving on the County Board of Equalization announced Wednesday his candidacy for Churchill County Commission, District 2. Tom Riggins said he decided to run for the county commission because of the increasing intrusion of state and federal government in the local lifestyle. The seat is currently held by Pete Olsen, who cannot run again because of term limits.
