Air quality unhealthy Monday; chance of storms Tuesday

Carson City’s air quality is unhealthy to start the week as the Oak Fire near Yosemite continues to rage. The smoke is expected to impact the valleys in the morning and evenings throughout the week. The fire is burning near Midpines, Calif., about 9-miles northeast Mariposa. The fire is at 14,000 acres and 0 percent contained as of Sunday.
