Red is a 1.5-year-old Heeler mix. He came to CAPS because the shelter he was in was full and he was next to be euthanized. He is a friendly energetic boy who loves to play and walk through the desert. He might be part kangaroo, because he can jump high. He is looking for an active family that will enjoy playing with him. Beware of feline panleukopenia virus

Me and Ow here, and we have been asked to discuss feline distemper, which is caused by the panleudopenia virus. This highly contagious disease affects kittens and unvaccinated cats. It is one of the deadliest diseases in the unvaccinated cat population.
