Senior Spotlight: Carson High’s Dariana Pineda Herrera

Dariana Pineda Herrera is an amazing student at Carson High School. She is a dedicated, hard-working and highly intelligent young woman who has set high goals for herself. She came to the United States when she was six and a half years old, and it was only then, when she started school at Mark Twain Elementary, that she started learning to speak English. Her family has a great belief in the power of education. Both of her parents attended college in Nicaragua; her mom earned a degree in banking and her dad completing a welding program. Both parents now both own their own businesses.
