Carson City Supervisors move forward on courthouse expansion

The Carson City Courthouse will be getting a makeover in the next three to four years though the scope and costs of renovation are yet to be finalized. On Thursday, the Board of Supervisors directed staff to pursue plans for a three-story expansion on the front end of the courthouse that could add around 8,000-9,000 square feet, hopefully enough to accommodate departments currently cramped.
