It was made very clear by university President Brian Sandoval and Athletic Director Stephanie Rempe that the Wolf Pack wanted a head coach who would ignite the program.
Choate comes to Nevada from Texas, where he has served as the co-defensive coordinator and inside linebackers coach since 2021.
