Zora Simpson turns on her ninth home run of the year and Douglas’ 60th home run as a team. Simpson and the Tigers tied an NIAA state record for home runs in a season with the long ball, matching 2017 Palo Verde, which homered 60 times in 43 games. Douglas is 29-4 and will play for the regional crown Saturday at noon.
