Rain turns to snow in Carson City as winter storm continues to leave its mark

After receiving 1.89 inches of rain between Thursday and Friday, the winter storm switched to snow early Saturday morning. By 5:30 a.m. Saturday, Carson City had received more than 3 inches but blowing snow made it impossible for exact totals.
