Blue Thunder band Director Nick Jacques gives direction to his students about their drilling positions on the Bordewich Bray Elementary School field. Bordewich provided its facilities to the band for its camp while portions of Carson High School’s building are under construction this summer.
Osiris Estrada Ledesma, junior and drum major, helps keep the tempo for the band as they perform a set. Drum majors are responsible for keeping band members structured and on task and undergo an interview process for the position.
