Job duties:
I have the fun but difficult job of bringing in enough revenue to keep our publications publishing, and publishing with the most resources as possible. I’m always looking at ways to save on printing, so we do not have to raise rates for our advertisers and subscribers.
We will always have our core products – our weekly and semi-weekly newspapers – and we are always thinking of new sections and magazines that fit our communities (i.e. This is Carson City, December 2023). We have a great team of advertising sales specialists that are here locally and ready to help you from start to finish with whatever advertising you may need. We enjoy meeting in person to discuss how we can help with your marketing needs.

Advertising in our newspapers and on our websites contributes to keeping your local newspaper operating. With more advertisers comes more budget for our editorial team to cover more stories, more business openings, more sports, more investigative journalism.

About me:
As anyone with young kids, my life outside of work revolves around my boys, Will and Reed. And of course, my first baby, Brady, our loveable German Shepherd. When my husband and I (and Brady) are not chasing after our kids, I enjoy being outside, catching up with my family back east, splurging on sushi and reading in bed or on a beach. If I had to pick a favorite book, it’s “The Art of Racing in the Rain.”
