A funeral for Donald R Seubert, 79, a 41-year Smith Valley resident, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Smith Valley United Methodist Church.
Mr. Seubert died Aug. 17, 2005, in Reno. He was born June 16, 1926, in Monterey Park, Calif., to Nicholas and Mildred Eicherst Seubert.
He married Sophia Acciari on July 8, 1982.
He was a heavy-equipment operator and a rancher. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Among his survivors are his wife; stepchildren Joe and Cathy Acciari, and Dennis and Linda Acciari all of Smith Valley and Greg and Mary Ann Curtis of Gardnerville; brother Howard of Nampa, Idaho; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery with military honors provided by American Legion Post No. 9.
