Sheriffs' Log

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 20-year-old from Zephyr Cove was arrested at 9 a.m. Thursday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $3,000.

The following are some of the 160 calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Court-order violation report in the 1200 block of Monte Rosa Drive at 6:36 a.m.

• Controlled-substance report in the 400 block of West Winnie Lane at 8:44 a.m.

• Commercial burglary reports in the 3500 block of South Carson Street and the 3200 block of North Deer Run Road.

• Graffiti report at North Lompa Lane and Carmine Street at 12:18 p.m.

• Fraud reports in the 900 block of East Musser Street, 500 block of North Carson Street, 3800 block of South Carson Street and the 900 block of East Second Street.

• Vehicle-burglary report in the 500 block of North Carson Street at 1:47 p.m.

• Battery report in the 3300 block of Sherman Lane at 2:08 p.m. A woman reported she was battered by the former property owner.

• A ring was stolen sometime in March, possibly by a cleaning company, in the 3000 block of Doubletree Lane.

• A mother reported at 4:23 p.m. that her 14-year-old ran away Monday or Tuesday. The girl was found on Sonoma Street.

• A tenant came home and found his sliding glass door open and his computer missing at 4:34 p.m.

• Coroner call at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center at 6:57 p.m.

• Accident involving a taxi cab in the 1600 block of Airport Road at 8:27 p.m.

• A report of 15 people fighting at an apartment complex on College Parkway at 10:15 p.m. One person was reported as having a head injury. An arrest was made.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

• Misdemeanor arrest on Dayton Valley Road at 2:02 a.m. after a report of a drunken driver and pursuit.

• Accident on Highway 50 East in Dayton at 6:51 a.m.

• Accident on Highway 95 Alternate in Mason Valley at 8:53 a.m.

• Vehicle fire on Six Mile Canyon Road in Mark Twain at 9:49 a.m.

• Residential fire on Deodar Street in Silver Springs at 12:30 p.m.

• Malicious-mischief report in the 2500 block of Winnemucca Street in Silver Springs at 6:33 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the 11 calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• A report of a drunken driver on State Route 341 near Cartwright Road at 5:13 p.m.
