Barbara J. Turner, 66, a Stagecoach resident for the past five years, died June 4, 2007, at her home. She was born Nov. 9, 1940, in Monmouth, Ill., to Eddie Lee and Mallie Buckingham Denison.

Before moving to Stagecoach, she lived in Puyallup, Wash.

She attended high school.

Mrs. Turner worked in a factory and as a store clerk.

She enjoyed the Sun and Moon slot machine.

She was preceded in death by sister Louise Garret and brothers Donald Denison and Charles Denison.

Among her survivors are son James Richard Shaw Jr., of Puyallup; daughter and son-in-law Kimberly Ann and Donald Earl Perry of Dayton; brothers and sisters-in-law Robert and Florence Denison of East Point, Ga., James and Carolyn Denison of Fort Madison, Iowa and brother William Denison of Monmouth; sisters Betty Sage of Monmouth and Elaine Mason of Stagecoach; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren and numerous extended-family members.

Cremation will be at Washoe Memorial.

Memorial contributions may be made to Vista Care Hospice.

Washoe Memorial Cremation and Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
