Flycasters to meet on Wed. March 21

The High Sierra Flycasters Club of Douglas County will hold its regular monthly meeting at the new Carson Valley Methodist Church at 1357 Centerville Lane (S.R. 756) in Gardnerville on Wednesday, March 21.

There will be fly tying at 6:30 p.m., followed by the meeting at 7 p.m.

This month's speakers are Jay Bigalow of the Lahontan National Fish Hatchery and Doug Anderson of the NDOW Mason Valley Fish Hatchery. They will each give a presentation on the operation of their hatchery.

The monthly club fishing trip is scheduled for March 25 on the East Walker River.
