The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 28-year-old unemployed Stagecoach man was arrested at 10:50 p.m. on two misdemeanor warrants. Bail was set at $1,806.


• Danny Ray Jacobson, 48, an electrician from Carson City, was arrested at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the 2100 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of felony passing fraudulent checks. He allegedly passed several counterfeit cashiers checks throughout Carson City. Bail was set at $20,000. More charges are likely pending.


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:


• Vehicle burglary reports on Fieldcrest Drive and College Parkway.


• Welfare checks on Fairview Drive, David Street and Concord Drive.


• Fraud reports on East Second Street, and 2100 block of Highway 50 East.


• Battery report in the 4100 block of East Fifth Street at 2:47 p.m.


• A report of four children unsupervised in a car at the Department of Motor Vehicles for an hour at 3:15 p.m.


Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:


• A taxi was involved in an accident at 12:46 a.m. on West Newlands Drive in Fernley.


• Accident on East Main Street in Fernley at 10:23 a.m.


• A counterfeit $100 bill was passed at a casino in the 700 block of Highway 50 East at 5:26 p.m.


Storey County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:


• Traffic citation on State Route 341 at 6:24 a.m.


• Traffic citation on State Route 341 at 3:04 p.m.


• Arrest on Six Mile Canyon Road at 5:21 p.m.


• Traffic citation on State Route 341 at 7:42 p.m.
