About Nevada: Nevada, coming off a 17-15 season and the school's first-ever post-season berth (NIT), knocked off Sonoma State 68-40 in its only exhibition game last weekend behind 18 points from junior guard Dellena Criner and 10 from freshman guard Johnna Ward of Spring Creek ... Nevada is 2-2 in season openers under coach Kim Gervasoni, who is 41-80 through four seasons ... Criner and Fitzgerald are currently in the Pack's record book. Criner is No. 4 in 3-point field goal percentage (36.0), No. 6 in free-throw percentage (75.9) and No. 7 in steals (128). Fitzgerald is No. 9 in blocked shots (50) and steals (125) ... Nevada was picked to finish second by the coaches in the preseason poll. The Pack was picked third by the media.
