The Small Business Administration is offering grants to restaurants, bars and other businesses through the Restaurant Revitalization Fund.
A spokesman said the program will provide funding equal to the pandemic-related revenue losses up to $10 million per business and $5 million per physical location.
In addition, the recipients are not required to repay the money as long as the funds are used for eligible uses no later than March 11, 2023.
In addition to restaurants and bars, eligible businesses include food stands, food trucks, caterers, saloons and other alcoholic beverage businesses.
Also on the list for those businesses that get at least a third of their gross receipts from onsite sales are bakeries, brewpubs, tasting rooms, brew pubs, wineries and distilleries, and inns.
