Nevada Secretary of State Francisco Aguilar announced on Aug. 9 new offices for the Commercial Recordings Division have opened at 401 N. Carson St., inside the Paul Laxalt State Building.

The offices will offer business licensing and customer service.

“The location across the street from the Nevada State Capitol has been closed and will no longer take customers,” the Secretary of State’s Office said in a news release.

Customers can visit the new location to start a business and register for a state business license, register a trademark and pay annual licensing fees.

Services are also available online at nvsos.gov, and customer service representatives can be contacted at 775-684-5708.
