Sheriff's blotter

The following arrests were made by the Carson City Sheriff's Department:

- A 49-year-old unemployed man from Carson City was arrested at 5:15 a.m. Sunday on Roop and Telegraph streets on a Carson City Justice Court warrant for suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear on a traffic citation. His bail was set at $705.

- Daniel Lanigan, 44, a mechanic from Carson City, was arrested at 6:05 p.m. Saturday in the 1600 block of North Fall Street for suspicion of felony battery on a peace officer and the following misdemeanors: resisting a peace officer, disorderly conduct and driving on a suspended license. His bail was set at $20,000.

- A 34-year-old assistant manager from Carson City was arrested at 8:23 a.m. Saturday for suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery and ex-felon failure to register. His bail was set at $3,315.

- A 41-year-old meat cutter from Carson City was arrested at 7:44 a.m. Saturday on Carson Street for suspicion of the following misdemeanors: driving on a suspended license, unregistered vehicle, unlawful acts of financial responsibility and ex-felon failure to register. His bail was set at $1,770.

- A 43-year-old arborist from Kings Beach, Calif., was arrested at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the 900 block of Parr Boulevard for suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear traffic citation. Her bail was set at $845.

- A 32-year-old laborer from Carson City was arrested at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the 900 block of Parr Boulevard on two Carson City Justice Court warrants for suspicion of misdemeanor criminal contempt. His bail was set at $1,715.

- A 38-year-old laborer from Carson City was arrested at 4:43 a.m. Saturday on Butti Way and Fifth Street for suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving and driving on the wrong side of road. His bail was set at $1,185.

- Gerald Lee Bashaw, 66, retired from Gardnerville, was arrested at 6:20 p.m. on Carson Street and Highway 50 West for suspicion of felony sex offender failure to register. His bail was set at $2,000.

- A 28-year-old architect from San Luis Obisbo, Calif., was arrested at 12:20 a.m. in the 900 block of South Carson Street for suspicion of misdemeanor battery. His bail was set at $1,105.

- A 28-year-old rock crusher from Washoe Valley was arrested at 12:20 a.m. in the 900 block of South Carson Street for suspicion of misdemeanor battery. His bail was set at $1,105.

The following calls were received by the Carson City Sheriff's Department:

- Welfare check at 12:19 a.m. in the 2400 block of North Carson Street.

- Non-injury accident at 12:41 a.m. at Roop Street and Winnie Lane.

- Noise complaint at 2:26 a.m. in the 4700 block of Yukon Court.

- Suspicious subject at 5:57 a.m. in the 1700 block of North Carson Street.

- Domestic battery at 7:55 a.m. in the 500 block of West College Parkway.

- Non-injury accident at 8:11 a.m. at Longview and Bedford streets.

- Harassment at 9:07 a.m. in the 2800 block of Menlo Drive.

- Burglary at 10:28 a.m. in the 4200 block of Spring Drive.

- Vehicle theft at 11:38 a.m. in the 3300 block of North Roop Street.

- Juvenile problem at 11:47 a.m. in the 600 Hot Springs Road.

- Property lost/found at 12:10 p.m. in the 4200 block of South Carson Street.

- Property injury at 2:28 p.m. in the 1600 block of Rankin Street.

- Suspicious subjects at 3:16 p.m. in the 4600 block of Highway 50 East.

- Harassment at 3:48 p.m. in the 3000 block of Otha Street.

- Property lost/found at 4 p.m. at East Musser and North Carson street.

- Petty larceny at 4:31 p.m. in the 100 block of East Adams Street.

- Welfare check at 7:10 p.m. in the 1600 block of Spruce Way.

- Larceny at 10:16 p.m. in the 4300 block of North Carson Street.

- Suspicious subject at 10:17 p.m. in the 700 block of South Carson.

- Subject unwanted at 11:44 p.m. in the 3500 block of North Carson Street.
