Hummel wins Pro-Am event

Wolf Run Golf Club's Steve Hummel was the winner of the Carson Valley Inn Pro-Am at Genoa Lakes.

In the pro event, Hummel won with a 67 and was followed by Brentwood Golf Club's Steve Caulkins, who finished with a 69. Eagle Valley's Mike Browning tied Wolf Run's Nate Kelly for third with a 71.

Tom Dawson (Hidden Valley), Brian Gentry (Incline Village), Doug Flynn (Squaw Valley) and Keith Stoll (Sunridge) all tied for fifth at 72. Chris Goeschel of Genoa Lakes finished seventh with a 73.

In the team event, Kelly's Wolf Run, Alex Mross's Hidden Valley and Fred Elliot's Wild Creek teams all finished tied for first at 194. Pat Simmons' Reno/Sparks and Hummel's Wolf Run teams tied for fourth at 195.

Browning's Eagle Valley team placed sixth at 197 and Ebon Slack's Genoa Lakes and Joe Fernandez's Diablo Creek teams tied for seventh at 198.
