Louis P. Caspary, 82, a South Lake Tahoe resident, died Nov. 29, 2001, at his home. He was born May 3, 1919, in Herick, S.D.
Mr. Caspary retired from the motorcycle business in Los Angeles in 1969 and moved to Lake Tahoe where he was a school bus driver for 13 years. His hobbies included motorcycles, the great outdoors and good reading material.
He was an officer in the 8th Air Force, stationed in England during World War II where he served as a bombadier-navigator on B-24s.
Among his survivors are his sons Louis F. of San Diego, Calif., Michael V. of Reno, Patrick K. of Santa Rosa, Calif., John D. of Chico, Calif., and Daniel G. of Chico; daughters Teri Tapia of Portland, Ore., Maureen Kirkman of Carson City and Margaret Fahnestock of South Lake Tahoe and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Rosary was recited Dec. 2 and a Requiem Mass was celebrated Dec. 3 at McFarlane Mortuary.
