Carson area 4-H youth fair opens July 22

Carson area youths will show off their pets and projects at the annual Capital City 4-H Youth Fair on July 22.

Sponsored by the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension, the exhibition is free to the public. The fair will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Carson City Fairgrounds.

Members of Carson area 4-H clubs will exhibit, show and compete in a variety of events, including dog obedience, agility and showmanship; horse judging; rabbit showmanship; cat show; fiber goat show; home arts; speech and demonstration contests and more.
