Ransomed, a vocal and instrumental group from Point Loma Nazarene University, will share in a free worship service at 10:30 a.m. July 9 at Dayton Valley Community Church.
The church meets at Dayton Intermediate School, 315 Old Dayton Valley Road.
Ransomed is made up of Point Loma Nazarene University students who audition for the chance to be a part of this service-oriented team.
Each year, the group gets a new look and sound. But their primary goal remains the same: to travel to churches, youth camps and conventions across the country and share their Christian faith. Ransomed's program includes a mixture of worship, special music and testimonies.
Point Loma Nazarene University offers more than 2,500 students an education in more than 60 major areas of study in a Christian environment, modeled in the evangelical and Wesleyan traditions. The university is on a coastal bluff in San Diego.
