Missionaries to talk about work worldwide

Missionaries Chuck and Helen Todd will share their exciting experiences at First Christian Church at 6 p.m. Sunday.

Chuck Todd is the son of the famous evangelist Cecil Todd, whose successful career has spanned more than 50 years reaching millions of people for Christ and distributing millions of copies of the Scriptures worldwide.

The Todds will talk about what God actively is doing in China, Russia, India and Iraq.

Living in the Name of God to be discussed today

Western Nevadans are invited to learn how to live in the name of God at a worship service sponsored by Eckankar, Religion of LIght and Sound of God.

The service is at 10 a.m. April 16 at the Carson City Community Center, Roop and Williams streets. Carson City, April 16.

During this free one-hour worship service, a skilled facilitator will give a brief talk, followed by readings, a small-group discussion and a short contemplation.

Lutheran school continues open enrollment

Bethlehem Lutheran School is conducting open enrollment until May 2.

The school is currently enrolling students in preschool through 8th grade for the 2011-2012 school year.
