A funeral for Joyce Bertelson, 70, a Reno resident for the past two years, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1095 Golconda Drive, Reno.
Visitation is at 10 a.m. Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1095 Golconda Dr.
Mrs. Bertelson died Oct. 19, 2000 at Washoe Medical Center in Reno. She was born Feb. 6, 1930 in Reno to Louis Lampros and Cleo Gresham. She was preceded in death by her sister, Kay Mortara in 1956.
Prior to living in Reno she was a longtime resident of Carson City.
She graduated from Reno High School.
Mrs. Bertelson was a librarian at the Ormsby County Library, retiring in 1992.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Among her survivors are her husband of 49 years, Theodore Bertelson of Reno; daughters Cecily Rodriguez of Reno, Trina Bertelson of Reno and Giselle Bell of Vacaville, Calif.; brothers Sergey Gresham of Reno and Glen Gresham of Newport, Ore., 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery in Carson City, after the funeral.
Ross, Burke and Knobel Mortuary in Reno is in charge of arrangements.
