A funeral for Linda J. Kasparie, 60, a Carson City resident for the past 14 years, will at 2 p.m. Thursday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home in Carson City.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kasparie died Oct. 14, 2000 at her residence. She was born March 20, 1940 in Galesburg, Ill. to William P. Watters and Hazel Riley.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Rita Saenz.
She married August "Gus" Kasparie March 15, 1968 in Galesburg.
Prior to living in Carson City she resided in Gilson, Ill. She worked for Met Life for more than 25 years, and at The Horseshoe Club for 13 years.
Among her survivors are her husband, Gus of Carson City; daughter, Cindy Eaves of Bloomington, Ill.; sister, Mary Sue Youngren of Galesburg, nine nieces and nephews and 17 great-nieces and nephews.
Burial will be held after the service at Lone Mountain Cemetery in Carson City.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
