A funeral for Cheryl Annette Haney, 48, a 10-year Dayton resident, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Carson City. Visitation will take place from 6-8 tonight at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Haney died Sept. 22, 2006, in Dayton. She was born April 30, 1958, in Evansville, Ind., to Russell C. and Marilyn J. Eaton.
She married George M. Haney on April 26, 1980, in LaPuente, Calif.
Before moving to Dayton, Mrs. Haney lived in Glendora, Calif.
She was a homemaker, and a Lyon County Sheriff Search and Rescue volunteer.
She was preceded in death by her brother Tony Eaton on March 13, 1999, in Loma Linda, Calif.
Among her survivors are her parents of Baldwin Park, Calif.; her husband, of Dayton; daughters Alison and Rhonda Haney of Dayton; sister, Sara Dempsay of Phelan, Calif.; brother Russell Eaton of Marion, Ky.; and five nieces and five nephews.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
