A parole and probation search at a home in the 900 block of North Carson Street this week resulted in an arrest of a man and woman on drug and weapons charges.

Teresa Marie McGee, 31, a self-employed painter, and Lawrence Brian McGee, 24, a unemployed framer, were arrested Monday evening. Although they share a name, the two are not related.

Teresa McGee is suspected of methamphetamine dealing, possessing a firearm as a felon, possessing a dangerous weapon and methamphetamine possession. She was held in lieu of $250,000 bail. Her home address is reportedly in the 1900 block of Fall Street.

Brian McGee is suspected of possessing a firearm as a felon, possessing a dangerous weapon and violating probation. He was held without bail. His home address is in Sparks.

The drug and weapons violations were added throughout the booking process, said Chief Sheriff's Deputy Scott Burau. He said methamphetamine was found in Teresa McGee's purse.
