The USDA Commodity Food distribution will be held 9 a.m.-noon, on Friday, Sept. 29 at the Carson City Community Center. Identification is required for the receipt of any USDA food.
Food Stamp households must submit a food voucher, along with the required "Food Stamp" I.D. Energy (fuel) Assistance households must provide a copy of their "Notice of Decision" along with completing a State application. Other households will be required to provide "proof of income" and complete a State application in order to establish eligibility. A representative from USDA Commodity Food Program will be at the Community Center to qualify eligible clients.
