Junior ski program begins registration

The Carson City Recreation Division is launching its annual Junior Ski Program. Registrations.

Registration will be from 9 a.m.-noon, Saturday, Nov. 13 and 9 a.m.-noon, Saturday, Dec. 11 in the Sierra Room of the Carson City Community Center.

The program is available to all children ages 9 (or in the fourth grade) to 18 years. The program offers: Ski or snowboard instruction (all ability levels), seven Sundays of fun on the slopes, transportation from the Community Center to Diamond Peak and special "reduced-rate" ski days.

This all-inclusive package is a bargain at just $170 per participant.
