Albert William Grenade, 69, a Myrtle Point, Ore. resident for the past 11 years and Nevada native, died Feb. 24, 2000, at his home. He was born May 9, 1930, in Gardnerville, to William and Jeanne Borderre Grenade.
He attended Carson City schools and graduated from Carson High School in 1948.
He lived in Carson City and Jacks Valley most of his life.
Mr. Grenade was employed for many years with Safeway Stores in Carson City and retired from the Carson City Sewer Department where he worked from 1970 to 1989.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Marie (Grenade) Gross.
Among his survivors are his sons, Albert "Ozzie" and Gary, a daughter, Gail Accinelli, all of Oregon; sister, Gloria (Grenade) Forbes of Reno; two grandchildren and one niece and one nephew.
Cremation and private services will be in Oregon.
Myrtle Grove Funeral Services of Roseburg, Ore., is in charge of arrangements.
