Larry Bryan Templeton, 46, a Carson City resident for the past six years, died Nov. 27, 2004, at home. He was born May 23, 1958, in Lubbock, Texas, to Hugh and Peggy Templeton.

He graduated from Grants Pass High School in Grants Pass, Ore., in 1976. He attended Central Oregon Community College in Bend, Ore., and Southern Oregon State University in Ashland, Ore. He graduated from the Utah College of Massage Therapy in December 1991 as a licensed massage therapist.

Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Salt Lake City.

Mr. Templeton had been a sales representative for the Lee Clothing Co. He was employed in retail sales, home health care and was a self-employed massage therapist. He attended Hilltop Community Church.

Among his survivors are his daughter, Whitney Templeton of Carson City; parents of Grants Pass; sister, Vicki Templeton, of Carson City and brother, Steve Templeton, of Eagle River, Alaska; three nieces; one nephew; two aunts; and one uncle.

A private family service officiated by Don Baumann, outreach pastor of Hilltop Community Church, will be held.

Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
