Obituary: Emily Bledsoe

Emily Phyllis Bledsoe, 83, a Gardnerville resident for the past 40 years, died Jan. 18, 2000, in Gardnerville. She was born March 24, 1916, in Picabo, Idaho, to Laffayette and Mary Adamson Killingsworth.

Before moving to Gardnerville, she lived in San Gabriel, Calif.

Mrs. Bledsoe was a legal secretary. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cordell J. (C.J.) in 1986, and brother Bert Killingsworth.

Among her survivors are her sons Todd Hull, of Salmon, Idaho, Robert K., of San Francisco, and Alan Lenard, of Reno; daughter Susan C. Crocker, of Gardnerville; sister Merle Eddy, of Napa, Calif.; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A service will be at a later date.

Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.

Walton's Douglas County Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
