A funeral service for Gladay C. Fagan, 79, a Carson City resident for the past five years, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Reno.
A rosary will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City.
Ms. Fagan died May 29, 2000 at Carson Health Care. She was born July 17, 1920 in Bayonne, N.J., to Louis Robinson and Clara Anderson.
Prior to living in Carson City she had resided in Reno since 1946.
Ms. Fagan was a volunteer at Washoe Medical Center and also served on the board of directors at the Peckham Town House Association.
She received the Sertoma Services for Mankind award in 1995.
Ms. Fagan was a member of the St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.
Among her survivors are her sons Patrick Fagan of Zephyr Cove and Michael Fagan of Ft. Collins, Colo.
Burial will be at Our Mother of Sorrows in Reno.
The family requests donations be made to the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation, 1 East Wacker Dr., Suite 2430, Chicago, Ill., 60601-1905.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City is in charge of arrangements.
