A memorial service for Loyd Brown, 70, will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 21 at First Baptist Church in Carson City.
Mr. Brown died of a heart attack Jan. 10, 2000, at Chula Vista Medical Center in Chula Vista, Calif. He was born March 20, 1929.
He owned Brown's TV at Lake Tahoe for more than 20 years. He was active in the Civil Air Patrol both in Hermosa, Calif., and Lake Tahoe and was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association. He was active in the First Baptist Church.
Among his survivors are his wife, Julie; daughters and husbands Connie and Stan Partin and Patsy and Jim Fuester; sons Robert and Richard; brother and wife James and Joyce; sister Evelyn (John); eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
