Secret Witness requests information

Douglas County Secret Witness is seeking information on criminal activity in the Douglas County area regarding the following incidents:

-- Two additional incidents of racially motivated graffiti have occurred at Smith's Food and Drug Store and Carson Valley United Methodist Church during the time of Sept. 5 and 6.

-- A destruction of property case that occurred during the late evening hours of Sept. 25. This incident took place on Pleasantview Street in Gardnerville. A rock was thrown through the front window of the residence breaking the window and other items inside the house.

-- Numerous destruction of property cases that occurred during the late evening hours of Sept. 25 and early morning hours of Sept. 26. These incidents took place in the Gardnerville Ranchos streets of Manhattan Way, James, Kimmerling, Mitch and possibly other unknown streets. Rocks were thrown through residence windows and mailboxes were destroyed with baseball bats. A white pickup truck with three male juveniles is suspected of destroying the mailboxes.

A reward of up to $250 is being offered to anybody with information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of the suspect(s) in each of the incidents. Your identity is not needed, and you will remain anonymous.
