Sheriff's Blotter

The following arrests were made by the Carson City Sheriff's Department:

-- A 26-year-old engineer from Carson City was arrested at 8:05 p.m. Tuesday in the 1300 block of Highway 50 East for suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving and failure to obey traffic signals. His bail was set at $1,160.

-- Jean Ann Sparling, 20, unemployed from Reno, was arrested Tuesday at 1:34 a.m. in the 1500 block of Stewart Street on a warrant from Reno Justice Court for suspicion of felony possession/sale of false identification. Her bail was set at $1,500.

-- A 48-year-old dental hygienist from Carson City was arrested Tuesday on an Elko Justice Court warrant in the 400 block of Hot Springs Road on an Elko Justice Court warrant for misdemeanor violation of a protective order. Her bail was set at $1,230.

-- A 28-year-old unemployed man from Carson City was arrested at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 2700 block of Modoc Court for suspicion of second offense domestic battery. His bail was set at $5,105.

-- A 20-year-old unemployed man from Dayton was arrested at 12:35 a.m. Wednesday for suspicion of the following misdemeanor offenses: criminal contempt and two failure to appear traffic citations. His bail was set at $1,625.

-- Jenise Alan Fregien, also known as Jenice Alana Lamm, 21, unemployed from Silver Springs, was arrested at 1 a.m. at the Silver Queen Motel for suspicion of felony possession of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bail was set at $2,500. Also arrested was an 18-year-old unemployed man from Carson City for suspicion of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail was set at $1,105. A 20-year-old unemployed man from Carson City was also arrested for suspicion of misdemeanor criminal contempt and failure to appear. His bail was set at $1,260.

-- Elizabeth Ganaden, 24, a photography studio assistant, from Carson City, was arrested at 2:45 a.m. Wednesday on William Street for suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and the following misdemeanor offenses: contempt of court and driving on a suspended license. Her bail was set at $4,705.

-- A 40-year-old casino worker from Carson City was arrested at 9:35 a.m. Wednesday in the 900 block of East Musser Street on a Reno Justice Court warrant for misdemeanor non-sufficient funds. His bail was set at $660.
