Rose Parker, 90, died Sept. 27, 2001 at her home in Carson City. She was born in Franktown Oct. 31, 1910 to Fred Lynch and Martha Rose Schulz and was a lifelong resident of Carson City.
She worked as a silk finisher in the dry cleaning industry and was a member of the Eastern Star, the Ammon Ra Temple No. 56 Daughter of the Nile, member of White Shrine of Jerusalem, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Parker, who died in 1985.
Among her survivors are her son, Robert B. Parker Jr. of Carson City, daughters Roberta Musselman of Carson City, Dorothy Gamwell of Reno, and Rosanna DeBusk of Carson City; a brother Ernest Rabe of Carson City; 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
Inurnment will be at Mountain View Cemetery in Reno. Walton's Carson Sierra Crematory and Walton's Chapel of the Valley are in charge of arrangements.
