A Carson City man accused of having sexually explicit photographs of a toddler being violated will appear in court Friday.

Eric Kendall Hanks, 38, who listed his employment as a dialysis technician with Washoe Medical Center, faces a felony charge of possession of a visual presentation depicting sexual conduct of a person under the age of 16. Police allege Hanks had "numerous images of children of varying ages, without clothes on and their genitals exposed," on a disk and the hard drive of his computer.

Police also reported finding images of an adult male engaged in sexual activity with an 18-month-old infant.

Hanks was arrested Nov. 11 at his West Caroline Street home after his girlfriend reported finding the images.

A preliminary hearing is 10 a.m. Friday.
