A celebration of life for Eugene Ernst Hunt, 62, a Dayton resident for the past 12 years, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Choppers, Highway 50 in Mound House. There will also be a potluck.
Mr. Hunt died Feb. 16, 2002, in Dayton. He was born Nov. 9, 1939, in California, to Donald Hunt and Leona Catherina.
Before moving to Dayton, he lived in Bishop, Calif., and Ontario, Canada.
Mr. Hunt was a slot technician. He was a past member of the Carson Kruzers and he loved spending time with his friends at Choppers.
He served in the U.S. Navy aboard an aircraft carrier.
Among his survivors are his father of Brea, Calif.; mother Leona Catherina of Bishop; daughters Bernice Rosky of Stagecoach and Malinda Cruz of Virginia and six grandchildren.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
