Here's what's happening in the Nevada hunting world in the near future:

-- Jan. 20 -- Closing day of the 2001, Nevada Common Crow hunting season in Clark and Lincoln Counties.

-- Jan. 20 -- Closing day of the Ducks and Mergansers hunting season for all of Nevada except the Moapa Valley Portion of the Overton Wildlife Management Area.

-- Jan. 20 -- Closing day of the Coots and Common Moorehens hunting season for all of Nevada except the Moapa Valley Portion of the Overton Wildlife Management Area.

-- Jan. 20 -- Closing day of the Common Snipe hunting season for all of Nevada except the Moapa Valley Portion of the Overton Wildlife Management Area.

-- Jan. 20 -- Closing day of the Canada and White-Fronted Geese hunting season in all counties except Clark and Lincoln.

-- Jan. 20 -- Closing day of the Snow and Ross' Geese hunting season in all counties except Clark and Lincoln.
