Due to the recent problems in Williamsport, Pa. regarding age and residency, local Little Leage programs will be requiring all those signing up to proving proper proof of age and residence.
Items that will be accepted for proof of age will be an original birth certificate or certified copy. Items that will be accepted for proof of residency will be power or gas utility bills.
Carson City Little League signups will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 26 and Feb. 2 at the Carson High foyer. Cost is $40 per child and $60 per family.
Those signing up must bring proof of birth and a utility bill with an address. Those eligible are Carson County residents ages 5-12 as of Aug. 1.
