The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in court:


-- Michael Edward Matha, 39, a laborer from Carson City, was arrested at 3:15 a.m. Sunday on Long Street for suspicion of felony failure to appear for passing bad checks. His bail was set at $2,500.


-- A 41-year-old salesman from Carson City was arrested at 12:55 a.m. Sunday at Carson Street and Koontz Lane for suspicion of the following misdemeanor offenses: Speeding, no turn signal, drunken driving. His bail was set at $1,200.


-- A 21-year-old waitress from Gardnerville was arrested at 1:29 a.m. Sunday on Roop Street for suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear on a traffic citation. Her bail was set at $180 cash only.


-- A 47-year-old carpenter from Dayton was arrested at 11:40 p.m. Saturday at Curry and Telegraph streets for suspicion of driving on a suspended license. His bail was set at $605.


-- A 24-year-old unemployed transient was arrested at 11:19 p.m. Saturday at Fall and Corbet streets for suspicion of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear on a traffic citation. His bail was set at $1,850.


-- A 30-year-old laborer from Carson City was arrested 8:43 p.m. Saturday at Desatoya and Glacier drives for suspicion of misdemeanor ex-felon failure to change address and failure to appear on a traffic citation. His bail was set at $370 cash only.


-- A 29-year-old unemployed woman from Carson City was arrested at 2 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Caroline Street for suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Her bail was set at $3,105.


-- Randy Fowler, 39, a contractor from Gardnerville, was arrested at 12:20 p.m. Saturday on South Carson Street for suspicion of felony failure to appear for destruction to jail property. His bail was set at $3,000 cash.


-- Frank Brown, 36, a carpenter from Reno, was arrested at 11:30 a.m. Saturday by Parole and Probation for felony parole violation. No bail was set.

-- One hit and run.


-- Two warrant services.


-- Two suspicious circumstances.
