Sheriff's Blotter

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

-- A 43-year-old installer from Carson City was arrested at 9:55 a.m. Sunday on the corner of Fairview and Industrial Way on misdemeanor failure to appear in court. Bail was set at $2,500.

-- A 36-year-old tree trimmer from Carson City was arrested at 11:40 p.m. Saturday in the 2800 block of East Carmine Street on misdemeanor suspicion of failure to appear for community service. A cash-only bail was set at $150.

-- Kerry James Weaver, 21, a landscaper from Carson City, was arrested at 2:45 a.m. Sunday in the 3400 block of Airport Road on felony suspicion of probation violation. He was placed on a no-bail hold.

-- A 29-year-old contractor from Carson City was arrested at 1:28 a.m. Sunday at the corner of Highway 50 East and Lassen Drive on misdemeanor suspicion of failure to pay fines for a traffic violation. A cash-only bail was set at $685.

-- Michael Bruce Roberts, an unemployed, 26-year-old Carson City man, was arrested at 9:55 a.m. Saturday in the 600 block of Robinson on felony suspicion of failure to appear in court and misdemeanor suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed on a no-bail hold.

-- James Floyd Crain, a 34-year-old unemployed transient, was arrested at 8:06 p.m. Saturday on the corner of Fleischmann Way and Curry Street on misdemeanor suspicion of having no bicycle light, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, obstructing/resisting and felony suspicion of parole violation. He was placed on a no-bail hold.

-- A 26-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 9:20 p.m. at the Carson Jail on misdemeanor suspicion of failure to comply. A cash-only bail was set at $1,000.

-- Maggie Johanna Baesman, 21, an unemployed Carson City woman, was arrested at 5:42 p.m. in the 2800 block of Menlo Drive on felony suspicion of methamphetamine trafficking. Bail was set at $40,000.

-- A 37-year-old construction worker from Carson city was arrested at 5:36 p.m. Saturday on the corner of Carson Street and College Parkway on misdemeanor suspicion of driving with no valid driver's license, careless driving and reckless driving. Bail was set at $975.

-- A 26-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 4:08 p.m. Saturday on the corner of Airport Road and Nye Lane on two counts of misdemeanor suspicion of failure to appear in court on a traffic violation and possession of drug paraphernalia. A cash-only bail was set at $2,165.

-- Nicholas Tony Lovett, an 18-year-old carpenter from Carson City, was arrested at 10:58 a.m. in the 5400 block of Mexican Dam Road on a felony juvenile detainer, possession of a controlled substance, gross misdemeanor suspicion of possession of a firearm with and altered serial number, misdemeanor suspicion of minor consuming and minor in possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $6,525.

-- An 18-year-old Gardnerville man was arrested at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the 2300 block of Carson River Road on misdemeanor suspicion of minor consuming alcohol. Bail was set at $210.
