The Silverada 11-12 years olds are still looking for somebody to challenge them at the Little League District III tournament. Silverada followed up Monday's 10-0 win over Ruby Mountain in five innings with a 16-2 win over Lovelock on Tuesday in Carlin.
They will face White Pine today in a winners bracket game at 12:30 p.m.
Against Lovelock, Anthony Onstott, Shiloh Oden and Michael Vincent hit home runs. Silverada scored four runs in the first inning, seven runs in the second and five more in the third. Vincent, Cory Yozer, Ryan Ransdell and Brett Remington all pitched one inning in the win.
If Silverada wins today against White Pine, they will play a doubleheader starting at 5 p.m. If they lose against White Pine, they'll play a doubleheader starting at 7:30.
